Automation Solutions Architect

What you'll do: Design and build complex, production-grade automation workflows using n8n, custom API integrations, and AI-powered business logic. You'll work directly with clients to map their manual processes, architect scalable solutions, and deploy end-to-end automated systems that deliver measurable ROI.

About You: You'll have some experience building workflows in code or low-code environments. You'll be a self-starter with a passion for AI and automation, and a drive to deliver results. You'll be able to demonstrate delivering a successful project from requirements to production. You'll be curious to learn about new technology and platforms, and ways of working.

We are open to graduate level candidates that have a background in programming, web development and a keen interest in automation and AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy custom n8n workflows, webhook integrations, and data pipelines for UK business clients
  • Conduct discovery calls and process-mapping sessions to identify high-impact automation opportunities
  • Integrate third-party APIs (CRMs, ERPs, payment platforms, marketing tools) into cohesive automated workflows
  • Build and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and reporting systems using JavaScript, Python, and SQL
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time, produce technical documentation, and provide client training

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience building automated workflows (n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar low-code or no-code based environments)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and working knowledge of Python
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and data transformation
  • Comfortable working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and SQL
  • Security by design practice experience
  • Excellent communication skills — you'll be client-facing and need to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Must reside and have the legal right to work in the UK

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LLM / AI API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini APIs)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Linux server administration, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Prior agency or consultancy experience

  • Configure SIP/VoIP trunking, phone number provisioning, and call routing for production deployments
  • Engineer structured prompts and conversational logic to achieve natural, human-like interactions
  • Build supporting n8n workflows for post-call processing: CRM updates, email follow-ups, and lead scoring
  • Monitor call analytics, iterate on voice agent performance, and deliver regular reporting to clients

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience engineering voice AI agents or conversational AI applications
  • Familiarity with telephony protocols (SIP, VoIP) and providers (Twilio, Vonage, Telnyx, or similar)
  • Strong prompt engineering skills and understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python for custom integrations and tooling
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple client projects, and meet deadlines
